The lungs and the heart play an important role in cardio exercises since they have to supply excessive oxygen consumption.
With the performance of cardio exercise, the organs mentioned above will be strengthened and made more efficient.
When performing cardio exercises, muscle blood flow increases, performing intramuscular vasodilation.
Cardiovascular exercises force the body to increase the metabolic demands for that activity, having to produce more energy.
Benefits
On the other hand, we must bear in mind that cardio is a very simple activity and we can do it at home.
The benefits that we can have when doing cardio at home or anywhere are: improving health and physical condition.
Another benefit that we can have is the elimination of fat from our body since it is used as fuel.
Types of cardio exercises
So we ask ourselves, what exercise can I start my cardio routines with? The answer is very simple: “ walking ”.
The human body is designed to walk, since its origins, man has been forced to travel great distances.
Its main objective is survival, either to flee from danger or to hunt for food. We can start with short walks.
